Guidelines for
Building Use
It should be remembered
that Faith United Methodist Church is a growing church with several
different programs and needs, and limited space to accommodate them.
With that in mind, and a need to work together we would like to request
the following:
-
The church needs to
be informed in advance )at least one week) for use of the Fellowship
Hall in order to notify the preschool to move their equipment aside
on a temporary basis. In addition, the preschool is not a part
of the church, therefore the toys/equipment inside the building are
for use only by the preschool (private property). A few items
in the kitchen also belong to the preschool, so if the Organization
has any doubts, it needs to ask. All exterior play equipment
can be used per the agreement with the preschool when they installed
the playground.
-
Please replace chairs
and tables to their original location at the end of your activity.
-
Whenever possible,
please carry table and chairs across the floors rather than dragging
them.
-
Whenever possible,
please utilize volunteers to set up and tak down rather than to rely
on the church cleaning service.
-
Please supervise your
children and clean up after them. For safety reasons, young
children should not be left alone.
-
Please make sure all
lights are off and all doors are locked, follow procedure printed on
thermostat to reset to normal programming.
-
Please provide for
trash disposal and cleanup following the event.
-
No smoking is
permitted in the building and cigarette butts to be placed only in
the receptacle outside the middle room door (and not on the ground
or driveway). No alcoholic beverages permitted inside the
church building.
-
It would be
appreciated if events and functions be scheduled to end by 9:00 p.m.
